ABOUT THE
OWNER

My name is Terri VanDam and I am the owner of this small veteran business.

There are so many other veteran owned coffee businesses out there but there are certain things that make this company stand out amongst the rest. To understand why this coffee is “different” it is important to not only understand my background but to feel and understand what CATM Coffee Company is based on, “A Coffee that Tells a Story!”

Each blend of coffee beans that has been developed to this point represents a small chapter in my own life. I have spent a “lifetime” of facing impossible challenges that at times dropped me to my knees and created extreme hardships. I used the knock downs as my call to “stand and rise above” all the adversary and challenges in front of me to create a strong desire to “win” and to turn the roadblocks into the pathway of successes.

I developed My “Warrior Spirit,” and literally conquered the world. In 1995 I won a World Championship title in snowmobile drag racing and reigned as the “ice queen” for over 20 years. A career that was beyond comprehension and is a story within itself.

I served my country in the Air Force for 23 years as a member of the Security Forces (Blue Beret) and held a SEI (Special Experience Identifier) code 312 or CATM (Red Hat). This military career allowed me to hone my skills and knowledge not only in advanced and technical work in gunsmithing and firearms instruction but allowed me to appreciate the things I experienced overseas in the ways of culture and coffee experiences.

I spent over 30 years working in several genres of law enforcement and served as Chief of Police in small town America where I identified and was investigating corruption at the highest levels starting at the local government all the way to the federal level. This story will be told in its entirety soon when my book is published.

You may ask, “Why is this all important to you as the consumer?”

To know me is to know that I put 200% of myself into everything I do in life. To know me is to understand that I am a survivor, a winner, a mover and a shaker.

To know me is to understand that I am a “champion” in helping others who need a lift in life when the going gets tough.

To know me is to understand that there is no impossible dream and that anyone can accomplish their goals and dreams if you form your own “Warrior Spirit.”

To know me is to understand that I am a fighter for justice, who constantly continues to expose corruption despite the backlash I have suffered.

To know me is to understand that as a woman I want to inspire other women to rise to become their own warriors no matter how hard things become.

Most importantly to know me is to allow you, the consumer, to experience the determination and tenacity that I have tried to put into each coffee cup in America!

This isn’t “Just a Cup of Coffee,” it is a story in every bean development. It is a belief in the “American Dream.” It is a woman putting her heart and soul into each coffee roast and my passion to bring you, the consumer, a vision as to what this small business has done to bring you quality coffee complete with a journey and a destination.

I am not about creating a coffee empire just like all the other veteran competitors out there. I am here to bring you a thought process in how far this “American Dream” has traveled to bring you, the consumer, a heartfelt and humble experience as you begin this journey with me here at CATM Coffee Company.

It is not just a cup of coffee. Savor the “American Warrior Spirit,” and become a part of the story in every cup you drink.

Thank you for being a part of this arduous journey and I guarantee you will not be disappointed in the current blends. When you take the first taste of Red Hat, Hayw!re or Blue Beret, you can reflect how far the journey has come for me. I hope you appreciate that this is not just a blend of coffee just like the others on the market. It is a hope to help others who don’t believe in themselves and who have also experienced being “kicked to your knees.” Never Give Up…………..Fight!

You will be seeing a lot more from this ambitious lady veteran and you will experience other blends soon that will tell another chapter of my story.

I hope you enjoy my products and that you will support the vision that I want to extend to you, the consumer.

A special thank you to The Big Sky Rambler for your unwavering support
